Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with a strong background in designing, developing, and implementing secure and scalable business solutions within Salesforce CRM. The ideal candidate will collaborate with technical managers, architects, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Plano, TX.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalability and security.
- Collaborate with technical managers, architects, and business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Develop high-level designs for business requirements and create prototypes to demonstrate solution design.
- Write and maintain Apex programming, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning components, Flows, and APIs.
- Integrate Salesforce with cloud-based and on-premises applications using standard and custom REST APIs.
- Utilize source control and release management tools such as GitHub and Copado.
- Apply Agile development methodologies, including SCRUM, throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in Salesforce development and security.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, Lightning components, Flows, Security, Sales Cloud, FSC, and APIs.
- Experience in the Banking domain; FSC certification preferred.
- Familiarity with source control and release management tools (GitHub, Copado).
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- Salesforce certifications such as PD1, App Builder, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant are an added advantage.
Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $64,734- $116,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
