As a Lead AEP/AJO developer you will make an impact as the primary point of contact for all AEP/AJO domain-related queries and issues. You will be a valued member of the team and work collaboratively with management, team members and client.
Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position, it will require you to be onsite as well as on call on the weekends. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Design and manage event-triggered and segment-qualified journeys, including entry conditions, re-entry logic, throttling, exit criteria, and journey versioning.
- Translate complex business and marketing requirements into scalable, secure, and performant technical solutions aligned with Adobe reference architectures and best practices.
- Configure and oversee orchestration across channels including email, push, SMS, in-app, and web.
- Support decisioning and offer-aware journey patterns, including eligibility, prioritization, and contextual delivery (in partnership with decisioning teams).
- Diagnose and resolve complex platform, data, and journey execution issues using journey logs, message feedback events, and AEP monitoring.
- Support sandbox strategy and environment promotion (dev, QA, stage, prod), including release readiness and post-deployment validation.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and solution leads in Agile delivery teams.
- Contribute to technical documentation, solution designs, estimations, and implementation roadmaps.
- Support presales activities such as solution design, effort estimation, and technical demonstrations when required.
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in marketing technology or enterprise application development.
- Strong hands-on experience delivering solutions with Adobe Journey Optimizer.
- Deep knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform, including XDM modeling, profile management, identity resolution, and governance.
- Solid experience with SQL and relational data models.
- Proven experience integrating enterprise systems via REST and SOAP APIs.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for digital communications.
- Experience with modern software engineering practices:
- Agile / Scrum delivery
- Source control (Git)
- Code reviews and quality standards
- CI/CD concepts

The annual salary for this position is between $83,000 – $130,00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
