About the role

We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager with Healthcare Payer experience to lead and manage product priorities and roadmap

In this role, you will:

• Work closely with product owners and engineering teams to define product requirements, prioritize initiatives, release planning and delivery using agile development cycles

• Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify whitespace opportunities and drive product strategy

• Creating or assisting in the creation of business cases and financial models to support the development of new product offerings

• Partner with sales, marketing and customer success teams to communicate product value and go-to-market strategies

• Act as a subject matter expert facilitating product demos and walkthroughs

• Lead roadmap reviews with client executives and prospects

What you need to have to be considered

• 5+ years of product management or relevant experience in healthcare payer industry ideally in core administration solutions

• 2 + years of experience leading a team of product managers

• Strong understanding of payer operations in claims processing, member and provider enrollment

• Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management using agile development methodology

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

• Proficiency with tools like Aha!, Azure DevOps or Jira

These will help you stand out

• Prior experience with TriZetto Facets is a plus

• Familiarity with CMS, CAQH and HIPAA regulatory requirements, EDI and/or FHIR standards desired

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 3/23/26.

The annual salary for this position is between $89,000 - $155,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
