As part of our existing expanding operations in Cognizant Portugal, we are seeking a Site Lead in Lisbon area to lead end-to-end operations for one of the main portfolios in the region within our Intuitive Operations & Automation area.

About the role
As Site Lead, you will be responsible for leading the day to day activities of your teams, setting targets, implement guidelines and support employees when challenges arise. Your will focus on People Management, Continuous Process Improvement, and Client Management.

You will ensure full compliance with all SLAs, including Quality, Utilization and Production. You will oversee as well multiple product areas and manage more than 600 associates and support staff.


In this role you will have to demonstrate confidence in following both Client and Cognizant policies, as well as the Code of Ethics. Also staying informed about team strategies, work effectively with remote teams, use technology comfortably, appreciate workplace diversity, adapt your management style to different situations and balance macro and micro management as needed.

What core competencies we are looking for in successful candidates.
• 12+ years of overall experience which includes a minimum of 4 years of experience managing large teams (450+ headcount) and at least a team of 4 second line managers.
• Solid expertise managing complex operation projects in international environments within the business process services areas (BPS)
• Ability to work closely with internal staffing partners, explaining complex analytics in a simple and structured way.
• Strong communication skills - ability to work closely with internal staffing client and communicate complex analytics in a structured and clear manner.
• Project Management skills clubbed with excellent conflict management skills
• Strong Presentation and Data Analysis skills
• Multiple stakeholder management; Forecasting skills; Good in analytical thinking, problem solving, Feedback & Coaching Skills
• High degree of problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail required.
• Proven track record of exceptional performance and high productivity
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively under pressure and short timelines.
• Excellent client interfacing and process management skills
• Strong problem solving abilities are must
• Should have problem solving and out of box thinking

What would be your main responsibilities on this role?

• Demonstrate strong client management skills and meet all SLAs and KPIs. When a miss occurs, you prepare detailed CAPA and take proactive steps to reduce risks.
• Lead and guide your teams using established guidelines, procedures, and policies.
• Implement strategies provided by site leadership to ensure smooth operations.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize your work efficiently. You manage multiple tasks, stay focused under pressure, and operate with minimal supervision.
• Foster a healthy, positive, and supportive team environment.
• Participate in hiring and staffing for your segments.
• Collaborate with global teams and various stakeholders across regions.
• Take responsibility for managing multiple product areas effectively.
• Directs & supervises team to achieve assignments using established guidelines, procedures and policies
• Implement strategies to successfully manage the day-to-day operations
• Plan, organize and prioritize work efficiently, multi-task, and work well under pressure with minimal direction
• Set a healthy environment in the team and positive mind frame in the individual
• Involved in Hiring & staffing for the segment
• Working with team across globe with different stakeholders
• Responsible for managing multiple product areas
• Mentor managers & team leads as per the career growth options
• Motivate and drive the team to ensure timely deliverables
• Collate, present Weekly Business Review dashboard to client
• Execute a comprehensive quality assurance processes
• Track and report daily volumes and quality stats to the delivery manager and other stakeholders
• Co-ordinate with non-operations team to make sure smooth BAU
• Should work with the Performance Excellence team on transformation and innovation index on the top
• Maintain tracker at all levels (client updates, performance management etc.)
• Review Managers, TLs and assist them on bottom quartile management
• Should forecast staffing raise SO’s as required and manage scheduling accordingly
• Help improve the defined processes as we create more automation and gather information
• Maintaining attrition & making sure the backfills are available on time avoiding the business impact.
