Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Technical consultant with extensive knowledge and experience in designing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow Platform. Senior Technical Consultants define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain software applications in support of the achievement of the business requirements. The role demands strong analytical skills and high research, design, documentation, and software modification capabilities throughout the production life cycle. Senior Technical Consultant are also proactive providing mentoring, support and guidance to the Junior Developers and perform with a high autonomy level. Due to theirs outstanding asset of skill set and high level of decision making, Seniors Developers usually act as a Project Team Leads.

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Manage all important project processes such as platform architecture documentation, integration documentation, work-effort estimation, and hands-on advanced development.

  • Attend, participate, and occasionally lead Scrum meetings.

  • Translate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with the implementation project team.

  • Fulfill Project´s technical development and configuration at the highest standard of technical quality contributing with assignments, follow up and guidance to Junior / Mid developers.

  • Fulfill technical design guidance within our projects following ServiceNow best practices.

  • Ensure Project Lead receives timely updates on assigned tasks to facilitate frequent and proactive customer communication.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Delivery Services processes as well as the maturing of the different portfolios, capabilities, expertise, and best practices in consideration of Customer needs and requirements.

  • Fill technical or process roles in our projects, if needed.

  • Lead, educate, mentor, and develop the resources who are assigned to his/her projects.

  • Assist in the scoping of new opportunities, design tools, and techniques to deliver efficiently.

  • Act as the final escalation point for technical decision-making within a project.

  • Partnership with HR to deliver technical interviews and support the recruitment process

Skills Required:

  • Development. background: JavaScript, html, CSS and JavaScript frameworks, Integrations
  • ServiceNow technical Experience: proven experience in additional ServiceNow product lines
  • Experience in Agile development environment
  • Software development life cycle management
  • 3+ years working on the ServiceNow platform specifically in SecOps module.
  • 3+ years of experience in General Consulting, Service Management, Software Development
  • 3+ years of platform configuration experience
  • Current Australian Citizenship, with / the ability to gain required Government Security Clearances

Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSM (CIS-ITSM)
  • Proven experience in two additional product lines outside of ITSM
  • Knowledge of ITIL; Foundation-level preferred
