OMNI Product Professional – Remote
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled OMNI Product Professional with deep expertise in Linux Shell Scripting, OmniPlus, OmniScript, VSAM, and COBOL. Experience within the Retirement domain is required. This remote role involves designing, developing, and optimizing product solutions while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support business initiatives. The ideal candidate excels in problem‑solving, communication, and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust product architectures based on business and technical requirements.
- Develop and enhance systems using COBOL, VSAM, OmniPlus, OmniScript, and Linux Shell Scripting.
- Analyze and optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of product features.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to support deployments and ongoing operations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, internal standards, and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Lead troubleshooting activities to resolve high‑complexity production issues.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and apply innovative solutions as appropriate.
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables.
- Implement appropriate security measures to safeguard sensitive data.
- Support continuous improvement of systems, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Strong hands‑on experience with Linux Shell Scripting, OmniPlus, OmniScript, VSAM, and COBOL.
- Experience designing and implementing product architectures in remote or hybrid environments.
- Retirement or Life & Annuities Insurance domain knowledge (strong asset).
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Proactive learning mindset and adaptability to emerging technologies.
Compensation (U.S.)
The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 – $120,000 USD, depending on experience, technical skillset, and geographic location.
This position may also be eligible for:

Compensation is determined using market benchmarks, internal equity, and individual experience.
