Your mission & challenges

Support our COO Office in scaling and professionalizing our production (assembly) operations as well as in further developing key company-wide processes. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to operational projects and gain valuable insights into a fast-growing, technology-driven organization.

  • You actively support project management within production (assembly), particularly in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects aimed at scaling production capacity.

  • You contribute to capacity and resource analyses and collaborate closely with production, procurement, supply chain, R&D, and quality management teams.

  • You assist in tracking project progress, risks, and relevant KPIs to ensure transparency and alignment.

  • You contribute to building and improving company-wide processes to ensure long-term process stability and reliability.

  • You identify process bottlenecks and support the development of effective solutions.

  • You assist in establishing standardized manufacturing, logistics, and quality processes and create and maintain related process documentation, such as work instructions, SOPs, and process maps.

  • You participate in lean and continuous improvement initiatives and conduct smaller analyses, for example on lead times, material flow, or OEE.

  • You support the development and implementation of optimization measures to improve efficiency and quality.

  • You support the COO Office in preparing decision-making materials, reports, and presentations.
    You structure and prepare strategic and operational topics for the leadership team and contribute to the preparation and follow-up of management workshops.

What we can look forward to
  • You are currently enrolled in a degree program in industrial engineering, production engineering, mechanical engineering, business administration/industrial engineering, or a comparable field of study.

  • Ideally, you have already gained initial practical experience in production, supply chain, industrial engineering, or project management, for example through internships or working student positions and you have an interest in or initial exposure to robotics or electronics topics.

  • You have basic knowledge of project management, both in traditional and agile methodologies.

  • Ideally, you have initial experience with lean methods such as 5S or value stream mapping.

  • You have a fundamental understanding of production, quality, or logistics processes.
  • You possess basic knowledge in data analysis, for example using Excel or Google Sheets; experience with Power BI is a plus.
  • You demonstrate a high willingness to learn and strong motivation to proactively drive new topics forward.
  • You work in an analytical and structured manner.
  • You are flexible and bring a proactive hands-on mentality.
  • You have strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • You are reliable and take a pragmatic approach in a dynamic environment.
