Join Qonto as a Procurement Expert to own strategic sourcing and supplier performance for key indirect categories. Your goal is to deliver measurable value through stronger commercial outcomes and robust, traceable risk and contracting discipline, while helping build a procurement culture where teams engage early and follow clear rules.
You will work closely with Mathurin Hyest (Procurement Lead) in a small team (1 Expert + 1 Apprentice), and partner daily with Finance, Legal, Risk & Compliance, Security, and business teams.
- Own category strategy end-to-end (pipeline, priorities, supplier panel, renewals plan), and translate it into a quarterly roadmap for Banking, Operations, and SaaS.
- Lead competitive sourcing (RFx) and negotiations autonomously within the delegation of authority, from business need to supplier selection and award.
- Drive measurable outcomes on your scope: savings and cost avoidance, service quality, risk reduction, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Partner with stakeholders as a trusted advisor: challenge choices when needed, align on evaluation criteria, and ensure sourcing decisions are structured, documented, and defensible.
- Embed vendor risk and compliance into the workflow: coordinate due diligence with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Security, and ensure approvals and evidence are stored and easy to retrieve (audit-ready).
- Own process and tool improvement for your scope (intake quality, PR/PO compliance, cycle time), and identify root causes behind recurring friction.
- Build and scale AI use cases to improve procurement efficiency (offer analysis, helpdesk bot, procurement intake bot).
- Contribute to procurement standards and enablement: improve the policy, guides, and training materials once processes are ready to scale.
How we split the work 🤝
- The Apprentice owns day-to-day Coupa helpdesk and administrative tasks.
- The Expert owns category strategy, sourcing, negotiations, and outcome delivery, and drives improvements that reduce operational noise over time.
- The Lead owns the procurement roadmap and strategy, sets priorities, removes blockers, and supports the team on high-stakes negotiations and escalations.
Market and team context: You will be part of the Procurement team within Strategic Finance, working with all departments requiring procurement support (Marketing, IT, Operations, Corporate Services). Your work will be central to cost control, risk management, and operational efficiency as we continue scaling.
How we work: We foster a procurement culture that values analytical thinking, clear communication, and collaborative problem-solving. You will work in a fast-paced environment with high ownership, ambiguity, and frequent cross-functional dependencies.
