As SAP Product Owner / Technical Project Lead, you will co-lead the implementation of SAP S/4HANA at roadsurfer. You’ll bridge business and technology, ensuring that SAP becomes the foundation for scalable, efficient processes across our organization. After successful implementation you'll take over the full system responsibility as a SAP Product Owner.

The role - your passion

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Project Leadership: Coordinate technical aspects of the SAP implementation in close alignment with the overall project leadership.

• Product Ownership: Own and prioritize the SAP backlog, ensuring all SAP-related requirements are captured and delivered.

• Process Ownership: Make decisions on SAP-side configurations and functional processes.

• Primary Contact for SAP Partners: Act as the operational interface to external SAP implementation partners.

• Cross-Team Coordination: Ensure consistent SAP integration across multiple teams and departments.

Furthermore

• Bring SAP requirements into cross-functional teams and align priorities with existing Product Owners.

• Collaborate with Team Leads while respecting team autonomy.

• Develop integration architecture together with Staff Engineers.

• Work closely with Finance, Controlling, Supply Chain, and HR departments.

• Clarify requirements, process details, and user stories.

• Conduct acceptance tests with business stakeholders.

• Provide conceptual understanding of integration architectures.

• Collaborate with Staff Engineers on technical architecture decisions.

• Focus on functional SAP processes rather than low-level implementation details.

What You Need To Surf The Wave With Us

• Strong technical understanding of SAP integration architectures and design principles.

• Experience working with business departments and external implementation partners.

• Solid knowledge of business processes (Finance, Supply Chain, HR).

• Skilled in creating technical concepts and documentation.

• Fluent in English (German is a plus).

• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset.

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

• Ability to explain complex technical topics in simple terms.
