Tourlane is a travel company. We design and sell 100% tailor-made trips to 35 destinations worldwide, for travelers who expect more than a packaged itinerary. More than 100,000 customers in Germany, France, and the US have trusted us to build their journey — and a meaningful share of them come back, or send us their friends.
France is our second-largest market and one of our most established teams: 100+ people, built sustainably, customer by customer. We're not chasing volume — we're building a business that lasts. We're hiring Travel Experts to grow it the right way starting with us on the 1st of July 2026.
This role is for you if you've sold before, if you take pride in the craft of a well-designed proposal, and if you want to build a real portfolio of customers who remember you — not just close a deal and move on.
What will you do?
- Sell and close tailor-made high-value itineraries to a discerning customer base, on qualified inbound opportunities.
- Own the full sales cycle: needs qualification, personalized recommendation, objection handling, closing.
- Defend the value of your proposals without defaulting to discounts — you justify the price through the quality of the experience.
- Manage a portfolio of customers across different journey stages with CRM discipline and clear prioritization.
- Build long-term relationships: pre-departure follow-up, handling unexpected issues, post-trip reactivation.
What do you need to be successful?
- A demonstrable commercial track record: you've carried a sales target, you can cite concrete numbers (conversion rate, revenue, team ranking).
- The ability to sell value: you've sold products or services worth €2K+ and you can justify a premium price without reaching for a discount.
- A consultative approach: you qualify before you propose, you adapt your recommendation to the customer — not the other way around.
- An appetite for pace and volume: a steady flow of qualified inbound opportunities — quality of qualification matters more than volume of closes
- Comfort with digital tools: CRM, trip planning software, video calls. Tech is a lever, not an obstacle.
- Genuine openness to feedback: you listen, you test, you adjust. Continuous improvement isn't a slogan, it's how you work.
- Native French, working English
The key competencies we're looking for:
- Commercial track record: you've sold, you have numbers, you know what it means to carry a target.
- Value-selling: you hold your price, you tell a story, you don't discount on reflex.
- Customer ownership: you carry the customer from first contact to post-trip follow-up.
- Pace and rigor: you sustain the intensity over time, with clean execution in the CRM.
- Coachability: you take feedback, you adjust, you progress fast.
What we offer:
- Compensation: 24.380€ base + uncapped variable, OTE 45.000€ to 55.000€
- Fully remote within France, with a structured onboarding to set you up for success.
