We’re expanding our Pricing & Procurement team in China and are looking for a driven professional to support our ocean freight strategy across key Asian trade lanes. The role focuses on managing carrier capacity, tracking bookings and space allocations, strengthening relationships with carriers and agents, and supporting commercial decisions through market insights and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
- Track and report space releases with providers, ensuring alignment with carrier allocations and carrier strategy.
- Escalate issues as necessary and execute solutions.
- Track booking status and overdue CRDs, ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Strengthen relationships with agents, fostering local and regional connections with shipping lines, NVOCCs, and procurement teams across China and Southeast Asia.
- Escalate operational and commercial issues where necessary to ensure clarity and resolution.
- Develop market expertise to serve as a key reference for designated trades, executing the defined carrier strategy.
- Support the business with rate queries to ensure correct invoicing and margin calculations.

- Understands the shipping Industry, knowing technical terminology used by stakeholders as well as the cost and revenue components of carriers.
- Knows about the end to end transport of cargo, understanding the operational elements.
- Ability to take on unstructured data and be able to structure it in a meaningful way so that conclusions and decisions can be taken using Google Sheets or Excel.
