About This Role:

We are looking for a Junior Content Editor to join our Editorial team in Kuala Lumpur. At Atolls, your role will be instrumental in helping us publish timely, engaging, and high-quality news content for our readers. Creating exceptional user experiences and empowering consumers to make informed and confident shopping decisions. As a key part of our team, you’ll be directly involved in building and enhancing the digital destinations our users rely on throughout their shopping journeys.

Your contributions will help shape how millions of consumers interact with our platforms, guiding them to make smart, fair, and rewarding choices.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Writing and editing valuable, attractive, and relevant content about our 1000+ e-commerce retailer partners
  • Conduct thorough topic and keyword research to keep apprised of market and consumer trends
  • Participate in content strategies to optimize website rankings in search engines
  • Contribution of the performance KPIs (eg. click-thru rate, traffic) measuring the success of our retailer landing pages, which receive thousands of visits per day
  • Contribute to additional projects to hone editorial, analytical, and/or training skills that support the growth of GSG across departments and markets

Your Profile:

  • First experience or strong interest in writing news or editorial content in English, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.
  • Technical Skills: Basic WordPress or CMS proficiency, solid research capabilities, familiarity with content editing tools.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, creativity, and adaptability – particularly important when managing tight deadlines or shifting priorities.

Bonus if:

  • Have basic SEO knowledge and can work with SEO tools to increase content visibility and reach.
  • Bring experience with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress).
